GALAGA

Galaga is a classic first-person shooter. Galaga is a large invading army stationed somewhere in space, made up entirely of spaceships of various shapes and sizes. Your goal is to shoot down as many enemy ships as possible. Space Invader only has three different groups of ships that attack the same way on each level. The first enemies you face are the blue ships that attack in a circular motion and then fly in from the screen to the left or right.

Enemy red ships move back and forth, often attacking from the sides of the screen. This makes them harder to shoot down. Boss ships are slightly larger and shoot with greater accuracy. They can also hijack one of your fighters, which can come in handy as you progress through the game. Diving spaceships are the last resort for the disintegrating enemy fleet. The so-called kamikaze ships will try to attack your fighter directly to destroy it. If the mission fails, they will reappear at the top of the screen. So it's imperative that you shoot them down before making another desperate attempt to attack. The most powerful special feature is the ship's double firepower.

If you have extra lives left, you can deliberately let one of your starfighters intercept. You will immediately gain access to another ship, and the captured ship will be covered by enemies at the top of the screen. If you manage to shoot down a mothership that is connected to your starfighter while in flight, you will be rewarded with a double firepower double ship. However, there is a concession. Activating the double ship bonus is equivalent to sacrificing one ship. If your stormtrooper is captured when you have no more lives, the game will be over.

You can get extra lives every time your score goes up by 70,000 points. The first additional hunting ship will be awarded when you earn 20,000 points, and the second for 90,000 points. Achieving the best score in difficult levels gives you a bonus of 10,000 points. As a result, you will receive one additional ship. Eliminating all enemies in difficult stages is the best way to get extra lives quickly.
